Thank you all, love you all & Kreidler.

Andreas Reihse is a Berlin based musician. Since 1994 he is well known in his role as member of Kreidler. In between he releases club music, e.g. as April or with Detlef Weinrich (Kreidler, Tolouse Lowtrax) as Binford on labels like italic, onitor or smoothrooms. He also composed soundtracks for artists - for movies, plays or installations (e.g. for Rosemarie Trockel, Maximilian Zentz Zlomowitz, Thea Djordjadze, Andreas Gursky, Frances Scholz/Mark von Schlegell, among others).

Romantic Comedy now is driving, percussive dance music. Music for dark clubs, for places without much light and oxygen. It's a comedy in six acts: from Los Angeles to Düsseldorf and back again.

Music and Lyrics? - Pop goes my heart! - Of course it's a rom com, a bittersweet romance full of memories and a bit of sorrow, too.

Der lange Weg nach Düsseldorf, the title maybe reminds you of Mittagspause's classical punk anthem Der lange Weg nach Derendorf, indeed Derendorf, this grey area of the provincial capital Düsseldorf where Andreas Reihse in the late 80ies shared a rehearsal room with Stefan Betke, next to the slaughterhouse; but Langeweg also was the adress of Klaus Dinger's studio in Zeeland.

The titles of the other pieces refer to dubious characters who testify that the trip to the West coast makes halt in Manchester, Milano, Brussels and London. Without forgetting Charlottenburg and Williamsburg. Places that hold up against oblivion and reinvent themselves as well as the club. Deine Disco braucht Dich.
